Fast Video Cataloger 7.02¶

Bug: Fixed an issue with extracted thumbnails having corrupt graphics. This was pretty rare but could happen with videos that had two recorded sizes that differed.

Bug: If you selected re-index from the context menu sometimes the indexing process did not start automatically (the videos were just put in the index list and you would have to click start yourself).

Bug: When extracting metadata from a video file the format was set to the title metadata.

UI: In the find duplicate video dialog we changed so you can see paths to the duplicate files and as well as the selected file. Should make it more clear what path will be kept, gives better overview and might save a few mouse clicks.

Documentation is updated and has gone through a spell and grammar pass.

[Bug: Fixed issue with some files reported as dupes when they were not dupes.]{.mark}

Bug: If there was an error during the application startup, the error message was hidden by the load screen.

[Bug: Video rename from the action window did not stop the playing video, so renaming it would fail as the file was opened in the player.]{.mark}

[Bug: Refresh now refreshes the playlist window as well.]{.mark}

Bug: Fixed crash when going to full screen with the keyboard shortcut before playing a video.

Fast Video Cataloger 7¶

Introducing the new server, access it from the "Share" screen.

Updated and added a lot of new icons.

Copy/Paste icons on thumbnails to copy keywords to and from the clipboard.

Check catalog for broken videos now also considers archived videos.

New option in preferences to Save last search (before it always did this).

You can multi-select thumbnails and add all to the current playlist.

Context menu to add to the currently selected bin.

Update of documentation, there were lots of new features that missed documentation.

Performance: When you select a video, the thumbs are displayed faster. This is very evident if you have videos with hundreds of thumbnails.

Performance: General performance improvement of all rendering.

Performance: The list of videos, in detail view, should now render much faster, especially if you have a large screen with the rating stars visible.

Bug: Clear keywords on-scene search result thumbnail did not work
