v2.5
Version 2.5 of the script interface ships with the next release of Fast video cataloger.
A new function CloseVideo has been added to the IVideoPlayer interface. It unloads the video from the player so the player no longer holds the file open, for a script that moves, renames or deletes the file of the video being looked at. StopMovie only stops playback and leaves the file open. The catalog selection is not changed. The file is released a moment after the call returns, so retry a move that fails with a sharing violation for a second or two.
A new function ReindexVideo has been added to the IVideoIndexer interface. It queues a video in the catalog to be indexed again by its id, capturing its thumbnails again, as Index > Reindex file does for the selected videos.
A new property Colors has been added to VideoQueryProperties. A search matches videos whose color label is any of the listed ARGB values, and 0 matches videos without a color label.
A new property IncludeVideoIDs has been added to VideoQuery. It is part of the cast filter, like IncludeActors: a video matches the cast when it has any of the actors or is one of the listed videos, and the cast joins the rest of the query by IsIncludeCategoriesAND as before.
A new property IncludeText has been added to SceneQuery. A scene search with it finds the scenes whose frame showed those words on screen, for videos whose text on screen has been read (Preferences > Video Indexer, or Index > Read Text on Screen). GetThumbnailTexts on the catalog returns the text read on given thumbnails.
A new function GetServerInfo has been added to the catalog. It returns which Fast Video Cataloger serves the catalog (ProductVersion, BuildChannel), the catalog format it upgrades to (ProgramSchemaVersion), the format the catalog had when it was opened (CatalogSchemaVersion), and CatalogIsNewer when a newer version upgraded it. A server older than 10.5 does not have it.
