When using a catalog on a network drive, we now load fewer images in parallel. This will reduce the risk of timeout and disconnect on the network drive.
In general, improved I/O performance when running catalogs with lots of media on slow devices while ensuring we do not decrease it on fast machines. We reduced the parallel I/O, making sure we do async io, reducing the thread usage, improved memory usage.
Fixed multiselection of videos, when adding a video to multiselection, the last added video is the one we show thumbs of. When removing a video, we make sure it is not the one we show thumbs for.
Fixed: Drop a file onto the front cover/back cover that did not work.
Changed all folder selection in the program to use the new dialog added in 5.21
We fixed several issues with refreshing the companion image window.
Increased size and quality of companion thumbnails in companion browser.
\<website> from .nfo is not treated as a video link property
Prevent overwrite of the selected layout if a catalog failed to open for some reason.

Ctrl + (+/-) Make thumbnails larger or smaller.
Ctrl + Mousewheel Make thumbnails larger or smaller.
A new option to skip videos smaller than x bytes, defaults to 4k. Videos this small are typically broken files and cannot be played anyway. Now you don't need to see them in the list of videos to index.
Fixed a few rare crashes reported by users (please upload crashes if you get them through the crash dialog and let us know what you did to make it crash)

Changed name on the context menu "add actor to search filter" to make it more clear that this option keeps the current search filter and set just the actor filter to the current actor.
Don't autosave the layout if no catalog is loaded.

Fast Video Cataloger 5.04¶
Fixed issues with that the playback speed was always reset to 1 when a video was stopped then started.
Added two new custom speeds for video playback. Set their value from the preferences and select them from the speed dropdown in the video player.
You can now hide sections of the search window that you are not interested in. Right-click and uncheck the search categories you do not want to view. The view setting is saved with the layout.
Thumbnail keywords are now sorted.
Fast Video Cataloger 5.03¶
Changed the default window layout to include only the most commonly used windows. You can, as before, create your own layout, and no windows or functionality has been removed. We did this change to make it easier for new users to get started.
We added new bins Window. Bins are folders for videos and can be used as working folders for videos or favorite lists. The bins window is not affected by your search of filters, and it can be opened at the same time as the video catalog window.
The scripting console now uses a fixed-width font and no highlight when the mouse moves over the window.
Added two more script samples. An import example reads a text file for keywords and applies the keywords to the currently selected videos. And one sample that sets the rating for all selected videos to one star.
Minor performance improvements.
Fixed crash with keyword dialog on Windows 7.
Fixed CreateVideoTag in the API.
Fast Video Cataloger 5.02¶

Fast Video Cataloger 5.01¶
Added buttons on thumbnails when you move the cursor above them to "set as video thumbnail" or "delete".
Added Autoselect of the video when you move the cursor above the video thumbnail. If you do not want this function, you can turn it off from the preferences.
Fast Video Cataloger 5.00¶
Fast video cataloger and all components have been converted to 64 bit.
C# based Scripting support has been added and a new window for editing scripts and for output from scripts. Extended actions to also be able to run scripts.
Improved performance. Changed internal database structure as part of performance optimization. It is not possible to correctly load a version 5 catalog into an earlier version of the software.
Videos can now have custom properties, and you can search on them
Right-click on the genre in the video details window allows you to rename a genre
The layout of search has been changed to give more space for each search category and clear for each category has been added.
Video keywords now have a color property.
A keyword management dialog has been added to rename keywords, set a color, and remove a keyword from everywhere it is used.
And lots of other smaller fixes.
