Fast video cataloger 9.3 is now available for download, if you already have FVC installed click on the Upgrade button in the help menu. If you do not have FVC installed you can get the latest version from our download page. Here is a list of improvements and fixed bugs in version 9.3
- New Preferences option to open each video in a new MPV window. This will allow multiple mpv windows to be open at the same time, the last one will be the one that tracks selection in FVC.
- New Preferences option to lock Layouts, you can still move windows, but they will not be saved and the save buttons are hidden.
- New Preferences option to hide the top menus buttons. You can hide the Start, Layouts, Views and About buttons.
- In the Bin manager you can now rename Bins
- Added a new shortcut to open the keyword manager, Alt + Q
- Context menu for “add to Bin” now shows the name of the selected bin.
- Recent list in keywording could expand to hide lists below it, there is now a max height.
- In the details window the top section is now in and expander.
- When using MPV and using the api to play video the last played from time was used instead of the start of the video.
- Fixed issue with keyword groups not being created correctly, this happened for catalogs created before FVC 9.2.
- You can now right click on recent catalog list to clear it.
- When updating in the keyword manager the keyword list scrolled to the end instead of staying at the current position.
- Keyword tree in Keywording window was not sorted correctly.
- Hierarchical keywords (Parent keywords) search now also work in scene search.
- Import tool did not import keyword groups.
- Import tool did not tag imported videos correctly.
- Embedded Chromium web browser and other components has been updated to latest version.
- MPV has been updated to latest version.
