Here is the list of whats new in 9.2…
- New option to use MPV instead of the build in video player. When enabled the video player window is not used. Instead, an instance of the mpv player is started and will seek when you click on thumbnails. To configure the mpv player we refer to the official pages, the executable is in the mpv folder.
- New option to use the MPV player if you play a video and hold down the ALT key. Using this option you can use the mpv player together with the integrated video player.
- New video keyword groups, lets you organize your keywords for keywording when using the list view. Put keyword in groups from the keyword manager.
- Video keyword group functionality has been added to the api.
- List or Tree view can now be hidden from the keywording view, Interface page in preferences. The list and tree view of all keywords are now displayed in an expander. The two options replaces the checkboxes in the keywording window that was added in 9.1
- New option to not show buttons on thumbnail when the mouse is over them
- New option to not update thumbnail selection as a video is playing, this is to help keyboard navigation. Move between the thumbnails with the arrow and seek to a thumbnail with enter.
- Fixed issue where loading an old catalog could end in an infinite loop, this was related to parent keywords.
- XMP data should now be read from Quicktime files, error in the installer in 9.1 caused the fix in that version to fail.
- If you give cmd line argument -ignorelayout the program will not load saved layout at startup.
- If you give cmd line argument -safemode the program will not load any plugins at startup.
- Progress bar now shows during ctrl+I search
