New version, 9.2.1, available for download now. Here is what’s changed. This is mostly a bug fix release for 9.2
- Right click on thumbnail now has a menu to play from thumbnail in MPV.
- Connection to a running Mpv instance should now be more robust, the pipe is recreated for each command from FVC.
- Fixed issue with thumbnails and other ui elements being slow to refresh when using the Mpv video player and having a layout that had a video player window visible.
- Preferences index page now has a drop-down menu to quickly select one of the sizes used by thumbnails in FVC.
- When a thumbnail is removed by clicking on the remove button on the thumbnail the size of the thumbnails is not resized even if using the “adjust to fit” thumbnails option, this is to make it easier to remove multiple thumbnails.
- Extended video properties should be fast to refresh (still fastest to not expand the properties when you do not need them )
- Startup time should be significantly faster for large catalogs with lots of XMP data.
- Fixed issue with keywords in the keyword tree in the search window was not populated from changing saved searches.
- Fixed issue with more than one keyword not being selected when changing saved searches.
- Fixed issue with some thumbnails getting the wrong aspect ratio ( mostly old low res videos) when extracted.
- Double click in the playlist opened the video window even if the video was set to play in MPV (but the video did play in mpv)
