Transcript support
We have added support for transcripts. The transcript is displayed in the transcript window. A tooltip shows the thumbnail closest to the time of the text line. Click on the text in the transcript window to jump to that point in time for the text.
You can search for words in a specific transcript. Or, in the search window, you can search in all transcripts in the entire catalog.
If the transcript window is open when the video plays the text will highlight and follow the time in the video.
The Program can read srt files as transcripts of a video.
Plugins
We have added support for plugins. Plugins extends Fast Video Cataloger with prepackaged actions.
On the plugin page, click download to visit our plugin download page. Add downloaded plugins from the plugin page. Use added plugins from the Actions window.
Plugins are a new feature we will continue working on in the next few versions.
Scripting
The scripting API has been extended, please see the scripting documentation for the details.
Script actions can now be run async on a worker thread, use the check box is in the wizard.
Minor improvements
- There are two new layouts that can be configured to your liking.
- Click on the thumbnail column to sort videos on color tag in the video catalog window.
- Shortcut for Save (CTRL+Shift+S) and reset layout.
- Keyword manager window is no longer modal.
