Finding a video is the reason a catalog exists. With a handful of files you can scroll; with hundreds you search. The Search window filters the whole catalog as you type, on title, description, path, keywords, genre, rating and more, and the video list shows only what matches.
Step by step
- Type a word in the box at the top of the Search window and press Enter. This matches any field at once.
- The Video Catalog now shows only matching videos. Clear the box to see everything again.
- Press Ctrl+F to show or hide the Search window.
- For a narrower search, use the sections below the box: text in specific fields, keywords, genre, rating, cast, or scene keywords. Filters combine.
A search you use often can be saved from the drop-down at the top of the Search window and recalled with one click.
