Once a video is indexed you no longer scrub through it to see what is inside. Select it, and its scene thumbnails appear as a strip. Spot the moment you want and click it: the built-in player starts right there, without switching to another program.
Step by step
- Select a video in the Video Catalog window. Its scenes appear in the Scenes window.
- Click any scene to play from that moment in the Video Player window.
- Double-click the video itself in the Video Catalog to play from the start.
- While playing, the Scenes window follows along and highlights the current scene. Pause and press the camera button to add the current frame as a new scene thumbnail.
The forward and rewind buttons seek; hold Shift for faster seeking and Ctrl for slower. Right-click a video to open it in your own editor or player instead.
