A new version of Fast video cataloger, our first for 2025, is now available for download. To get the latest version click update in the software.
Here is the list of whats new…
- XMP data was not correctly extracted from some Quicktime files (.mov).
- Keyword now have a link and a description property, edit them from the keyword manager.
- Keywords can be displayed in a tree structure in the keywording window.
- Search window can display include keyword in a tree structure.
- Forward and backward shortcuts could not be reassigned in fullscreenmode.
- Fast forward, if held down, could sometimes jump to the start of the video.
- Reimport will update read extended properties from the file and overwrite any edited extended properties in the catalog with the new value from file.
- Attract video wall now shows a progress bar for how long is left until the videos are swapped, videos will not swap until mouse cursor is moved outside the window.
- Attract video wall should be animating much smother now.
- Extended properties in the video detail window should update much quicker (if you do not need the extended properties, close the tab to improve performance when switching between videos.)
- In the Search window, the state (visible/expanded) of the transcript search is now saved in the layout.
