What is new in Fast Video Cataloger 9

In version 9, we have added support for video transcripts. You can now import SRT files. You can view the transcript for a video in the new Transcript window. When you play a video with a transcript, the subtitle window will highlight the current word. You can also click on words in the transcript window to jump in the video.

You can also search the current transcript by entering text in the search field at the top of the window.

The search function is extended to include searches for words in video transcripts.

We also introduced a new plugin system, plugins can be downloaded from our web page and added to the program. After adding a plugin, you will see the new actions in the action window in a section for the plugins.

Version 9.0 is the first release of the plugin system. Over time, we will add more plugins and open up the plugin API for all developers with proper documentation when we feel it\'s mature enough. You can now download a plugin to automatically create video transcripts using AI.

9.2 Added support for playing videos in the mpv video player.

9.4 Added support for pipe actions and for using the mpv video player as an external image viewer.

As usual, there are many other improvements and bug fixes.
