Backup¶
A fast video cataloger solution will consist of one catalog file (.vcat) and folders with videos and photos. Make sure to make regular backups of the complete vcat file as this file will be touched every time a user make any change to the catalog. The size of the vcat file depends on settings in the program and the number of videos in the catalog but typically it seldom ends up larger than 10 GB. All larges assets, i.e. videos and photos, are stored as separate files. You probably want to set these up the video and photo folders for incremental backups.
